Bollywood is just a money making machine of 3–4 families where nepotism is everywhere. Just look at the number of Khans and Kapoors in Bollywood.
There is no room for creativity and small budget but great movies with unknown actors usually go unappreciated and shit movies like Kick, Dhoom 3 earn 200 crores.
If you look at last 50 years of Bollywood and Hollywood Cinema, you will find that Hollywood is ahead by leaps and bounds.
When they were making Jurassic Park(1993), we were making Aankhen.
When they were making Terminator(1984),we were making Shaarabi.
When they were making Avatar(2009), we were making Billu.
We can’t even copy the scenes correctly(forget about making iconic scenes).

And the audacity with which they compare their movies to Hollywood movies is laughable.
When Varun Dhawan was asked by a reporter how good is Dilwale, he told them that “If you liked inception,you will like Dilwale”.
I think Bollywood will take another 50 years to reach where Hollywood was in 1983.

The point is that the supply is already much more than the demand. Kudos to the people like Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee, Kangana Ranaut etc who still managed to carve their place. It must have been really difficult for them.
